This series of Handbooks is intended to provide readers with up-to-date information on how the transport system functions, and how the various components that constitute transport systems interact with each other. This volume focuses on matters pertaining to transport systems. It complements the previous volumes in the series on transport modelling, and on logistics and supply chain management. This volume is concerned with the broader nature of transport systems and with the implementation of public policy across transport systems.
