Samenvatting
The research aims to provide an assessment for the Road Safety situation in Hungary, by showing aggregated figures and statistics on road accidents. This article is based on ROSEE ROad safety in South East European regions report. The road safety performance of Hungary in comparison to other countries of South Eastern Europe is discussed. In Hungary, a great potential for safety improvement exists, if serious effort for tackling the above major critical factors is made. (Author/publisher)
