Samenvatting

tests were conducted to determine how much C O a motorist can breath before it affects his driving performance. Driving performance was categorized into three levels: visual perception and information acquisition), control (psychomotor), and dynamic response (time delayed vehicle response). The results suggest, that the largest magnitude effects with increased COHb levels occur at the early stages of information processing. (See also B 3059).
