Samenvatting
The main objective of this study was to study and measure driver's performance in a lane drop situation. The study was focused on comparison of the left lane drop versus the right lane drop. The study was conducted in the UCLA Driving Simulator. A slightly larger number of failures in merging with moving traffic in adjacent lane was observed in the case of the right lane drop.
