Samenvatting
Background information on the annoying or harmful consequences of traffic vibrations on buildings is given. Besides a more or less theoretical consideration on the relationship between the damage to buildings and occurring vibrations, a framework is given for the judgement of the damage caused by vibration. Existing international standards in this field are taken into account.
