Samenvatting
The IRIS project, that has been started in 1999, aims at facilitating a step-by-step development of an open system for integrated, dynamic public transport information by mobile internet. In this paper, an overview is given of the most important activities in 2001/02: Development of the IRIS service concept; Working out of a Business Case; Development of system concepts and a basis for standardisation; Process, organisation, commitment and financing; Enabling the start of two pilot projects in the next years.
