Samenvatting
The Swedish Road Administration (SRA) has together with the Swedish Agency for Innovation Systems (VINNOVA) and the Invest in Sweden Agency (ISA) signed an agreement to form a new research programme for traffic and vehicle safety - IVSS (Intelligent Vehicle Safety Systems). The venture focuses on traffic and vehicle safety using a holistic approach to vehicles and infrastructure. The programme includes research, education, technical development, demonstration activities and implementation. The six-year programme (2003-2008) has a 70 million Euro budget.
