Samenvatting

As a group, teenage drivers are known to be many times more at risk of accident involvement per unit of distance driven than the middle age group. This is outcome of a multitude of factors which can be usefully grouped under two headings: age- inherent factors and lifestyle factors. This paper attempts to assess which of the two factor- groups has the greater effect on the overall difference in risk between teenage and middle aged drivers.
