In 1993 the Rotterdam Public Transport company has made a study into the level of knowledge of the public transport of the non-users and the sometimes-users. The level of knowledge was overall rather high. But a lot of these knowledge was false. False knowledge is predominantly pessimistic. The aspects of price and comfort are conspicious. Marketing of the public transport should take these knowledge into account.
