Samenvatting
The traffic education in kindergartens and on lower schools is mostly given in a verbal way. In this report the question is studied in how far the children of 4- 7 years old understand the traffic terms which are frequently used in the verbal transfer method of today. The terms studied are o.a. kerb, kerbside, zebra crossing, traffic, stop, cycle track, pedestrian, traffic lane, vehicle, accident and crossing the road.
