Samenvatting
Several studies have shown, that the possibilities for car drivers to make use of public transport, are influenced by both objective and subjective constraints. This paper summarises some research findings. On the one hand, objective constraints are dealt with. Some simulations have been carried out with the mode choice model, which has been developed in this study. On the other hand, subjective constraints are dealt with. At the end of the paper, some ongoing studies, which aim to analyse in more detail the question of substitution, are mentioned.
