Samenvatting
The authors of this book examine the theory of multiple-lane traffic flow; in particular, the prediction of the character of the traffic flow at arbitrary density in terms of driver behaviour in dilute, non-interacting traffic and derivation of a kinetic equation to describe the space-time evaluation of the velocity distribution of cars.
