Samenvatting
Previous studies of automobile over taking and passing on two lane highways have established that drivers cannot judge accurately either the speed of or closing rate with, the oncoming car. The purpose of the present research ease to determine the effect on drivers decisions to pass or not of providing them with knowledge of either closing rate or oncoming car speed in accelerative passing situations.
