Samenvatting
Since January 1980 the electric/battery Duo Bus and the electric/diesel Duo Bus are tested. Most problems arise with the maintenance, cost, charging and weight of the batteries. Electric/diesel buses seem to be more useful for public transport systems. Alternative designs for buses e.g. the location-variants for the electromotor, the diesel engine, the generator and the propulsion system are discussed.
