Samenvatting
Daily the problem arises to make a choice between different alternatives. After an evaluation of the alternatives a choice can be made. This process of making the choice exists in the whole social process. In the economy often the choice between the different investment projects has to be made. In this report the selection process, the methods used and the criteria for the final selection are highlighted. Examples from the transport and harbour economy are presented.
