Samenvatting
Since January 1, 1993 the Regional public transport in the Netherlands has been confronted by a new administrative system. This system regulates the financial ratio with the national government and gives freedom to the public transport companies to determine their level of transport provisions. Large cuts in governmental subsidy are also made. Regional public transport has to manage more criteria in business economics in order to determine their production level. Models will be developed to present costs and profits on each transport line. Some models are tested and the first results are presented.
