An experimental method is projected thereby permitting approximate simulation of the side wind force affecting the vehicle under running conditions after which the possible measurement procedures are explained. The production of lateral or axial thrust is obtained by discharge of compressed air and the measurement of the actual lateral diverange from the running track is controlled with the aid of a camera attached to the vehicle itself
