An Qverview is given of a study into the distance which cycliste and moped riders keep on the sides of the cycle track or to each other. A test method. by which sand was sprinkled over a test track and in which the different distances could be measured. gives quick and reliable data. It is shown that the distance to the side is mostly more than the 0. 25 m as proposed by the RONA. On the other hand the mutual distance is smaller than the proposed lm.
