The textbook for the course: traffic safety, at the Delft University of Technology in 1986 is presented. After an introduction on traffic safety lectures are held on: starting points and framework for traffic safety research and countermeasures; problem analysis of traffic safety: knowledge on traffic safety and its control for cities and villages, provinces and government; applications of knowledge of traffic safety on general problem situations; integral control of traffic safety.
