Samenvatting
The results of the democratisation in vehicle ownership have an ill effect on road safety. Many efforts are made to improve the situation, but so far with little result. One of the reasons is that the role of human beings is not enough taken into account. The importance of a dynamic sociology capable of acting like a catalyst between the various research disciplines is stressed.
