Samenvatting
This paper is a brief state of the art report regarding the development and the possible market for electric vehicles. Principally it concerns those vehicles not dependent on fixed installation for "refuelling" or charging. Vehicles equipped with batteries as well as hybrid propulsion are dealt with. After an introduction outlining some electric vehicle associations, the paper discusses the market in a short term perspective. Finally, different automobile firms' development of electric vehicles is presented.
