Samenvatting
This latest volume in the series of TRB Special Reports on landslides contains 25 chapters written by 30 authors. Prepared by experts from the United States, Canada, and the Netherlands, this report has a broader international scope and considerably more extensive coverage than its predecessors. The authors of several of the chapters are involved in international landslide coordination programs, and this new report has been designed to reinforce those international efforts. Measurements of the International System of Units (SI) are used in this report. A table of conversion factors for SI and inch/pound (U.S. customary) units of measurements is provided in Appendix B.
