Large-deflection elasto-plastic buckling analysis of plates using finite elements.

The formulation of the large deflection behaviour of elastic-plates is given and numerical solutions obtained using the finite element method. Illustrative examples include the collapse analysis of plate panels subject to compression and shear respectively.
