Large vehicle- induced aerodynamic disturbances : critique of past studies and recommendations for further research.

This report presents a critique and evaluation of research related to large vehicle- induced aerodynamic disturbances. The final conclusion reached is that additional experimental and analytical work is required to resolve discrepancies in previously gathered experimental data and to extend the state of the art in such way as to allow the formulation of cost-effective aerodynamic hazard reduction strategies.
