Samenvatting
The Shenzhen Customs Automatic Vehicle Identification (AVI) system is currently the largest AVI system in China, and the largest in the world for the purpose of customs' usage as well. Due to employment of advanced DSRC technology, considerately designed software and tamper-proof tag installation technique, the system has proved to be of high accuracy and efficiency and satisfies the special needs of the Customs. Its successful operation has brought remarkable benefits to both the Customs and the vehicle drivers. (A*)
