Samenvatting
Risk is viewed as a psychological activity and a mode of social behaviour. The main issues addressed here are: how are attitudes towards risk structured; what importance do drivers attach to the fact of the subject;under what conditions does it become an integral part of the individual's identity and a factor of social differentiation and what mechanisms govern this phenomena. The answers to this question are examined in terms of the interest problems presented by this type of research and the methodologies used, the main findings are discussed and assessed.
