Samenvatting
In this paper, Dakar is presented as an example of both the definition and application of urban transport policy. The definition of the urban transport policy by the government of Senegal with the support of the World Bank "SSATP-Urban Transport" (Sub-Saharan Africa Transport Policy Program) project is making it possible to improve the urban transport system of Dakar. The English title of the paper is: "The role of the city of Dakar in urban transport policy."
