Ce document présente le secteur du transport routier de marchandises dans le nord-pas-de-calais a travers quelques éléments principaux: structure, entreprises, localisations, flux, emplois. Il évoque également les changements institutionnels et réglementaires en cours, tant européens que français, susceptibles de conditionner les restructurations a venir du secteur. Il examine la démographie des entreprises de transport routier dans la région, et leur répartition par classes d'effectifs. Comme ailleurs, la population des entreprises artisanales prédominé largement dans le secteur, ainsi que les PME de petite taille. English abstract: The survey of the recent road-haulage evolution in the region Nord Pas de Calais presents this sector through several main data: sectoral structure, firms, location, flows, jobs. The report sets out also the institutional and statutory changes, in Europe and in France, which can affect the future restructuring in this sector. The third chapter deals with the demography of the road-haulage firms in the concerned region, and with their distribution in some size groups. Like in the orher regions, the population of artisan firms predominates in the sector, as well as the small and medium sized firms.
