Samenvatting
Different types of laws and standards (national primary and secondary legislation, EEC regulations, British and other standards, Codes of Practice) are explained. New and forthcoming national legislation on minibuses and coaches is discussed. Future trends in legislation and the needs of elderly and disabled people are mentioned. The system of controlling the operation of buses and coaches in use and the effect of deregulation are outlined.
