Samenvatting
The first topics of the paper are the importance of accidents involving children in modern world and the necessity of a systems approach to understand the phenomenon of road accidents and to decide efficient measures. In this approach, there are four main factors to deal with: the physical and mental condition of the child, the family and social background, the behaviour of the drivers and the environment.
