Samenvatting
This bibliographic review deals with the various uses of car driving simulating devices. Details are given of the systems utilised to reproduce diverse simulated variables, and of different simulators. An assessment of the use of simulators is presented based on publications concerning the research work carried out in that field. Attention is drawn to two problems: complexity of the equipment, and its ability to reproduce driving situations faithfully. /TRRL/
