Samenvatting
Research in the field of biomechanics and injury is an essential part for the development of provisions to decrease the consequences of traffic accidents. Experiments with cadavers and anthropometric dummies in impact tests to study the effectiveness of safety belts and airbags in injury prevention are examples for the need of biomechanical research.
