Samenvatting
The development in recent years in lamps and in vehicle lighting systems is described, with illustrations and diagrams. The lighting intensity could be increased sharply by the halogen lamp, with suitable adaptation in reflector size and form. Several solutions are described (normal, halogen and mixed bulbs, with round and rectangular reflectors) which show the improved for both main and dipped beams. In future there will be more miniaturisation in lamps and more automation in bulb manufacture, to reduce costs.
