Samenvatting
This report describes a license plate, origin-destination traffic survey that was conducted in the area of Boston, Mass. on January 13 and 14, 1968. During the survey, vehicle license plate numbers were recorded at four highway stations. A computer search determined the names and addresses of vehicle owners. Mail questionnaires were sent to 4,910 vehicle owners requesting information on these trips. Background information operating procedures during the survey, results of the survey and conclusions are presented.
