Samenvatting
The effect of the Local Government Act passed in December 1966 which gave Highway Authorities the responsibility of ensuring lighting is assessed. The author examines the aesthetic aspects of lighting all highway types in a county, and the problems of power supplies, installation, which lighting engineers are faced in rural areas.
