Samenvatting
The concept of Safety Rest Areas along national highway systems is so recent that it is not included in the current "American National Standard Practice for Roadway Lighting". Realizing a need for lighting recommendations in these areas, the IES Roadway Lighting Committee, through its Rest Areas Subcommittee, has prepared this report.
