Samenvatting
Abstracts of the literature on sobering remedies are presented. One of the possible activities in the future to decrease the dangers of alcohol in traffic is a study of chemicals which have a sobering effect. To obtain an insight into the existing knowledge in this area and to study the usefulness of stimulating further research, a literature research was carried out. The best way to counteract the influence of ethanol is the retardation of the absorption. A further study of sobering remedies for improving traffic safety seems to be not useful at the moment.
