Samenvatting
The Department for Transport (DfT) wants to understand better how local authorities in England are reducing emissions and adapting to a changing climate through the delivery of transport policies. This research seeks to deliver clear guidance to the DfT on additional action the Department could be taking to support local authorities in delivering low carbon transport policies. The key research elements of the study consisted of a desktop review, in-depth interviews with local authorities and an expert carbon tools workshop, held in April 2010. (Author/publisher)
