Samenvatting

Truck accidents are caused by a complex interaction of environmental and operational factors present at a specific time and location on the road network. Truck accident rates are expressed as the ratio of the number of accidents divided by the level of travel exposure for a comparable combination of causal factors. This paper discusses the loglinear system of truck accident rates using the Generalized Linear Interactive Modelling (GLIM) system.
