Samenvatting
In the Dutch city of Soest, the possibilities for local free public transport were examined. This investigation had especially the Dutch system for tickets and tariffs as a target. A possibility was a local card as the national government gives to the Dutch students: the `OV-Jaarkaart'. In spite of attractive points the project didn't look successful. The Dutch regulations for public transport and the costs meant major problems. (A)
