Longer term activity scheduling of overnight long distance trips : a longitudinal telephone survey.

This paper presents a step towards a methodology to analyze and model long term travel and activity planning from a transportation research point of view. It introduces a general framework that can be used to describe when and how decisions concerning trip purpose, location, mode, timing, company and accomodations for different trips are made.
