Low-cost improvement of the outdoor environment of urban areas.

The focus of this project is directed at the improvement of existing urban centres. Improvements cover items such as (1) measures to reduce the danger and nuisances of vehicular traffic and parking; (2) new rights of way for pedestrians and cyclists; (3) facilities for children's play; (4) facilities for adult recreation; (5) facilities for meetings and social gatherings; (6) improvement of appearances of buildings and outdoor spaces.
