Samenvatting
Air bags will increasingly be installed in cars in order to reduce the consequences of a collision for the occupants. By means of the combination of multibody and finite element techniques in the computer program MADYMO, the interaction between the occupant, the seat belt, the air bag and the vehicle interior can be studied and optimized at an early stage of the design process.
