Technical description of detection equipment developed by Philips, TNO and the transportation & traffic division of the Rijkswaterstaat, for measuring speeds with an accuracy of about 1,5%. It is being used in motorway traffic control systems. It is based on a conventional trigger point determination and enables speed measuring through one loop only. (Author/publisher)
