Samenvatting
The development of relevant technologies for automotive telematics is outlined with particular reference to the design of a safe human machine interface. Voice recognition is considered the best way to receive and transmit information. Reconfigurable projected image display is described. It is suggested that automotive telematics can only be advanced if true customer needs are integrated with a broader ITS solution.
