Samenvatting
The author points out, using results of radar counts on four different locations and road types, that the character of the road is more important to car drivers than the legal speed restrictions, as far as his speed is concerned. Although the results of these counts are considered to be merely indicative, they may be used in the discussion about the enforcement of speed limits in the Netherlands.
