This deliverable describes the results of the driver simulation tests performed by CRF to determine the potential effectiveness of the three main promising HMI options as proposed by OFFIS. The HMI provides in-vehicle nudging information to the driver of a passenger car to direct the attention of the driver towards potentially hazardous areas on the road. Hazards are related to cyclists that possibly cross the trajectory of the ego-vehicle. The study has been performed with 30 test subjects (15 female), and different types of results were analysed to evaluate HMI performance in comparison to a situation without nudging.
