By using the finite element concept with an appropriated finite rotation description, the MECANO software allows the analyses and simulations of articulated and flexible systems. Its library element covers a fairly large range of rigid or flexible members and mechanical joints. The software is unceasingly developed in order to provide a more user-friendly interface. One of the application examples of MECANO is the ABS (anti lock braking system) system model.
