Samenvatting
This report describes the results of an investigation into serious lower limb injuries sustained by both unrestrained and restrained vehicle occupants in road accidents. The primary object of the investigation was to determine not only the cause of injury but, where possible, the directions in which force acts upon the human body. Some suggestions are made as to the possible applications of this research.
