Samenvatting
The quantity of bus and tram lanes are classified in 5 types, both on urban roads and on arterial roads from, to, and in towns. The directives that lead to the construction of bus lanes are discussed. The European literature primary deals with the establishment of a well organized public transport system in order to decrease the hindrance of other traffic.
